What was the highlight of your last overseas trip?

We played on a German TV show in Hamburg. It was an old sailor’s bar down on the harbour. The bar was filled with people, all drinking beer and in good spirits. At the window a bunch of sailors would sing German songs between each interview guest on the show. It was such a good vibe. In the morning we woke up and went to the 5am fish markets, right by the hotel. There was a band playing a 5am doing cover songs…we walked into the markets while ‘Eye of the Tiger’ was being belted out to rowdy people still drunk from the night before. An amazing time in Hamburg!

What’s your fave track on your latest album?

I love a song that Angus wrote called ‘Crash and Burn’. His voice is so beautiful and moving. And the lyrics really break my heart.

A phrase that you use far too often is…

“…you know what I mean?”

What cheers you up?

A cup of tea.

What’s your favourite item in your wardrobe?

Chanel flats.

What is the one hair product you can’t live without?

Coconut oil.

If you could only have three things in your bag (aside from wallet, keys and phone), what would they be?

A little Ganesha statue, Chanel lipstick (Rouge Allure Velvet), and sunscreen.

What is your favourite restaurant/cafe?

The Galleon in St Kilda, Melbourne.
